"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gen 1:1) "I am the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last." (Rev 22:13)

      God wants us to know that He is the supreme creator who always existed and will always exist. He starts his book with the unmistakable evidence as to His craft (creating). He ends the book with the declaration that his nature will endure for all time.

      Don't ever overcomplicate or diminish the significance of this simple truth. As the enduring creator of all time, we must know that he can make something beautiful out of, "an empty waste without form." (Gen 1:2) Whatever the condition of your life, give it over to God for Him to produce something abundantly above whatever you could have done on your own. After all, He's spent an eternity proving He's really good at it.
