"For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]." Philippians 4:8 (AMP)
Whatever is such a unique word, because it takes on so many different meanings. The best thing about this word is that its all encompassing. When Paul uses this word and how he uses it, his intent is for each aspect of the use of whatever to be all encompassing. As if to say... anything you do... do it all the way.
When it comes to matters of the truth... go all in. Honorable, just, pure, lovely and lovable... do everything all the way. Have a positive outlook, love other people, and watch how your life changes for WHATEVER you want it to be.
